Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - THANKS
THANK YOU FOR THE CD IT'S GREAT AND AND IN GREAT CONDITION LIKE I WAS TOLD

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A pretty good collection
Reo Speedwagon had some great emo/pop/rock hits back in the day. Those days are long gone now but the music is still fun to play for me. Hits like "Take it on the Run" and "Keep on loving you" are here as well as many others. From what I can tell this is about the best greatest hits collection the band has, and now you can get this disc digitally remastered so that is even better for you as a consumer. The best thing about this collection is that they do put a lot into it, even though a few of the songs are not to my liking, they may be to yours.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - incomplete list of hits
com siempre en este tipo de compilaciones falta algun temita imprescindible. en este caso se omite el top "keep the fire burnin'", gran tema de principios de los 80's. esta disponible eso si en algunas compilaciones variadas

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - fun music
REO Speedwagon is one of those "you either love 'em or hate 'em" kind of bands. For me, I think they're just a really good rock band, though of course nowhere near the same level as Deep Purple or other artists. However, many of their regular albums were a bit inconsistent, with a few filler tracks occasionally getting in the way. This Hits collection fixes that, and mainly deals with just the really good tracks. I can't really agree that the band sold out in the 80's, like some people do. This is because they always had a sound that geared towards a successful commercial career. They were never a convincing hard rock act like Zeppelin or Jeff Beck or other bands. They just constantly delivered very good guitar playing over a slightly cheesy sound. That's okay, though. Many bands were cheesy back in the 70's and 80's that were still really good, and this is one of them. Pick up this Hits album for a good selection of tunes.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not the best compilation
Given that the Essential compilation is 2 CDs and about 150 minutes of material (remastered), it's a better bet than this one (at under an hour). If you can get a copy of this, make sure it's remastered and dirt cheap. Otherwise, look for the Essential comp, it's commonly on Amazon for less than $13.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai judges ordered Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat's ruling People Power Party (PPP) disbanded on Tuesday after it was found guilty of vote fraud, but party members vowed to "move on" and form another government.

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.
