Editorial Review:

Amazon.comWhile many soundtracks offer two takes on a hit single, how many offer alternate cuts on three different songs? Warner Bros.' The Quest for Camelot does, with mixed results. 'Looking Through Your Eyes' is performed three times--once by LeAnn Rimes, once by the Corrs and Bryan White, and lastly as a tedious all-instrumental version by David Foster. Compared to her standard fare, Celine Dion's 'The Prayer' sounds reserved; there's no over-the-top melisma and her voice sounds almost subdued. Andrea Bocelli's take on the same tune is slightly different, with a slightly more pronounced string section kicking in. Journey frontman Steve Perry delivers one of the more convincing performances with his version of 'I Stand Alone' (also covered by Bryan White) and 'United We Stand.' Gary Oldman's 'Ruber' is sinister, while Don Rickles's Cornwall is funny (and a nice change-of-pace from all these megastars) on 'If I Didn't Have You.' --Jason Verlinde

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Teen's Review
1. Though the country twist somewhat ruins the song, Rimes does an acceptable job. 2/5

2. He sounds like he's going to burst into tears throughout the entire song! 3/5

3. Celine does a beautiful job on what happens to be one of my favorite songs of all time. 5/5

4. Though a bit corny with the whole song and dance number, the music is well done. 4/5

5. A beautifully sung song, but it just doesn't seem to build up to anything. 4.5/5

6. Beautiful music combined with beautiful voices. 5/5

7. He's basically shouting the entire song, but the sinister feel is definitely there. 3/5

8. White does an amazing job with this ode to independence. 5/5

9. Not exactly the best technically, but the humor makes up for the sub-standard singing. 4/5

13. I'd never heard a Neo Operatic version before; VERY nicely done. 5/5

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - United We Stand
I saw this movie and heard the songs from the soundtrack from the movie and various artists CDs. I love both versions of "Looking Through Your Eyes" by The Corrs & Bryan White, and LeAnn Rimes. They're both so beautiful and they really capture your heart. "United We Stand" is an important message to shared with all people, especially those in the armed forces. It is wonderful! I loved "If I Didn't Have You". It was so funny when Don Rickles and Eric Idle sung it. This song could be for anybody: teenagers arguing with their parents, siblings arguing with each other, anyone! I really liked Steve Perry's rendition of "I Stand Alone". It is a really sweet song, and it DOES NOT sound like he's howling in it. It should sung for those who are going through rough times that need to be left alone, like the blind, crippled, terminally ill, people suffering from depression, or anyone just having a bad day. Or it could be used to describe the type of person that you are and want to keep your dreams and imaginations to yourself. The only comment I would like to make is on the end title version of "The Prayer". Why didn't they use Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli singing together? I wasn't able understand a word Bocelli was saying without Celine Dion translating it for us. I really would of liked that on the soundtrack. I like Celine's version in the movie, though. It sounds pretty. Buy this soundtrack today! It will sweep you away to Camelot!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome music for the quest
I got this soundtrack, which was used, so the CD case was scratched, and the frontcover was gone, and it looked ratty, if u know wat I mean. But once I listened to the soundtrack, it totally made up for the beat-up CD case!

My Rating List
1)Looking Through your eyes 3/5: Good, but it was better when Kayley and Garrett sang it.I didn't like how the lyrics were changed.
2)I Stand Alone 1/5: God, Steve Perry sounded like he was howling in pain, and that he was going to burst into tears any moment! Garrrett was WAAAAAAY better, and I didn't like the lyrics being changed in this song either.
3)The Prayer 5/5: Totally touching. Celine Dion, you deserve a cheering crowd of mothers with their children!
4)United We Stand 5/5: Awesome Irish tune. 2 thumbs up to the fiddler and the woodwind players!
5)On My Father's Wings 5/5: Perfect for any girl who looks up to their fathers. Andrea Corr totally put her soul into this song!
6)Looking Through Your Eyes 5/5: It was SO romantic and beautiful! I was crying because I was so touched! One of my favorites!
7)Ruber 2/5: You call that singing? Ruber was yelling almost the whole time! However, I liked the background instrumentals. 2 words: Don't scream.
8)I Stand All Alone 5/5: I LOVED THIS SONG! I loved watching Garrett go through the unique surroundings of the forbiddon forest as he sings. This is one of the songs that gets stuck in my head all the time.
9)If I didn't Have You 5/5: It's SO funny! However, I think peoople should see the movie before listening to this song otherwise they may not understand it.
10)Forbidden Forest/Dragon Attack: 1/5: Ho-hum. What a bore. I can't even force myself to listen to this whole song. In addition, I don't like the loud beginning. I don't recommend this song.
11)The Battle 1/5: A little more interesting than the previous song, but still a bore.
12)Looking THrough Your Eyes (Instrumental) 4/5: I think its really pretty. It totally sounds something you would here being played by some volunteering musicians play at a really fancy restaurant.
13)The Prayer 4/5: Really good, but why does this have a bit of the melody from "Looking THrough Your Eyes"?

This is a great song for anybody who loves the movie, Quest For Camelot! It totally makes up for a wrecked CD case.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Absolutely Charming!
Here it is, almost 2005, and I just found this movie and the MUSIC from it. The movie itself is truly charming, with the musical score adding so much to it. Granted the instrumental was tedious, but thankfully not a lot of instrumental work! Steve Perry's rendition was fabulous, Bryan White (and even Celine Dion) were all great. The music really helped make the movie even more entertaining, especially the songs by Idle and Rickles...they were hilarious! In the movie (where they played a dinosaur with 2 heads

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Soundtrack!
For any child or adult that loved the movie, they will love the soundtrack. Enjoy!!
