Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The End of Chapter One for Def Leppard
This is the album that really broke Def Leppard to the masses. Nearly every song is a classic and two of their best epics appear here in "Die Hard The Hunter" and "Billy's Got A Gun". This is one of those albums that everyone should own, it's just that good. This will be the last hurrah for Pete Willis as he was dismissed during the recording process. His influence is all over the record though. Def Leppard will never have the same big riff style that they had with Willis but he drank himself out of the band so what can you do. We all saw what happened to Steve Clark when he couldn't handle the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. New guitarist Phil Collen's impact will be very apparent on Hysteria.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Butt Rock... Crap Rock
God I hate this music. It's crap and always has been. I really think that people who like this stuff have something wrong with them. It seems like only girls should like this music. This is the musical equivalent of that show Full House. Everyone knows it sucks, but there are a few weirdos who think it's the best thing ever... and they are all girls. This music is pure cheese and the people who enjoy it are cheesey. I don't know at what point you trade in your testicles for a fondness of Def Leppard, but it seems to have happened to a lot of people. The only people who should listen to this album are the ones who use Aqua-Net or Stiff Stuff on their bangs and think that Bon Jovi is a better musician than an actor.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - GREAT ALBUM. WHEN WILL IT BE REMASTERED?
This is a classic, but it needs to be remastered. The only version available is the original CD master, put out it 1990. It sounds weak. I can't believe it hasn't been remastered yet.

3 stars simply because the sound quality is so bad.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - an all-time classic album
What can be said about Pyromania in addition to the previous reviews? Not much. It's a brilliant album, and a true rock classic. Awesome guitars, riffs, hooks, lyrics, and vocals. There is not a bad track on here, it is five-stars from start to finish. My favorites are Photograph, Stagefright, Too Late For Love, Comin Under Fire, and Rock of Ages. A modern musical masterpiece.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My favorite Def Leppard album
I know that everyone has an opinion, but since that's the point of a review, here's mine.

I think this is DL's best album and a must-have in any collection that is to include any 80's rock.

Enough said.

CLLCT - The Collective Family An online community of indipendent musicians who have made their music free to download. No, it's not myspace.
(disclaimer: I have a profile there too, but nothing that I haven’t also posted on mefi.music. Apart from that I have nothing else to do with running or maintaining the site.)

Originally the 001collective, cllct is a community (or a collective if you will) of musicians dedicated to giving away their music for free on the internet. I randomly found the original 001 site while looking for online communities to post my own home recordings to. Not long after I signed up, the site changed to its current format under the new name cllct.

There is some phenomenal music to be found there, from the cuteness overload of Shelby Sifers, to the mature stylings of Generous Alzir, and even the off-kilter experiments of the Secret Owl Society (who is also the man behind the entire site).

Some other favourites of mine include:
21 love songs – a tribute to Magnetic Fields
Fire in the Mountains – James Eric
Pinecones – The Uggamuggas
Macondo – Fox Paws

I hope you enjoy the music!
