Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Talented Musician Shines Again
Beck never disspoints and since his break through Odelay, he continues to change and produce good music.

His newest record conitnues his traditiion. Electronic with grooves and cool playing or real instruments. Gamma Ray, Modern Guilt (with its groove) and Replica are three of my favorite tracks.

Also if this is the first time you have heard of Beck, make sure to get Odelay, which remains my favorite Beck record.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Beck continues to impress
For anyone put off for any reason, cast that aside. Beck has crafted another solid, incredible album. Chemtrails is one of his best songs ever.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - I Forget buying this
I forget buying this, but when I was reviewing other stuff there it was. Now how did that one song go? That's right I quit listening 20 secs in.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - solid though uninspired
Like all Beck albums there are some catchy tunes and a few experimental tunes, in my opinion crafted to balance his artistic sensbilities while maintaining his pop appeal. At face value most of the songs are enjoyable to listen to, they will make your head nod, or your hips shake :) Though for the more discerning listener you may be left feeeing a bit dissapointed after 5-10 listens by the "single" dimensionality of many of the tracks. That is why I give this album theree 3 stars where most every other Beck album is an easy 4-5 star effort. Stand out tracks "Youthless, Replica, Soul of a Man, and Volcano."

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Another masterpiece from Beck!
I love it when a new Beck CD comes out. I think Beck has topped himself with Modern Guilt. Absolutely amazing...but, then again, all of Becks music is amazing. He just keeps bringing it. High recommendations from his 2nd biggest fan.

LONDON/TOKYO (Reuters) - The United States will pump $250 billion into its banks on Tuesday, following similar measures in Europe, but data showed the threat of recession has not been banished even if a financial sector meltdown has.

Formed from the same genetic ooze as Pantech's Slide Duo smartphone and rebranded Helio Ocean handset, the Matrix is a mildly frustrating device: spec'd with the best, but dressed in the worst. An HSDPA-enabled handset with GPS, a full QWERTY keyboard in addition to a dialpad, and two cameras should have the software to leverage the hardware, but AT&T and Pantech have chosen to stick with an in-house OS rather than opt for Windows Mobile as they did with the Duo QWERTY smartphone. Still, it doesn't look like a bad feature phone for people who message more than they talk, and it's available today at AT&T stores. [Crave]

At Gartner's Symposium/ITxpo conference, the possibility of hiring freezes or layoffs was the top item on the consulting firm's list of things IT managers should prepare for in light of the financial meltdown.
