Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love this music!
Such a unique, playful and sweet mixture of songs. A great mix of old and new, just right for listening. It introduced me to Kimya Dawson and the Moldy Peaches and reminded me of my love for Mott The Hoople's "All the Young Dudes" and the Kinks. Wow, I love it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Folksy andmakes me want to learn guitar
A lot of good folksy tunes mixed in with some indie tunes on this album. Makes me want to learn how to play guitar.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - so pure & jolly !
it's so encouraging the movie and the matching soundtrack brings the whole thing a seamless blend

juno + bleeker, the hairband...the stripe pattern, it's so 80s?!
it's a mix of retro, creativity and originality

it's just so good...you will know why it beats all the hollywood big production!!

just can't get enough!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Juno - Soundtrack
I purchased this for my daughter (age 15) after watching the movie. It is catchy folk music. She was so delighted to get the CD and immediately memorized the whole CD. If you like folk music...you will like this.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fitting Companion to a Great Film
There's a very nice simplicity to the songs in the Juno Soundtrack which is a very fitting companion to the movie. The mix of songs span the decades...from Buddy Holly in `50s, to Kimya Dawson in this decade.

Kimya Dawson is a dominant force behind much of the "feel" of the album. Of the 19 tracks, she has a total of 8 songs (if you count Moldy Peaches and Antsy Pants). Her quirky, Lo-Fi sound went perfectly with the film. Her self recorded songs are just her vocals and an acoustic guitar with very simple, non-threatening(except for "Tree Hugger")lyrics. A perfect listen when you're not in any particular mood and just want to unwind.

Some other inclusions on the Soundtrack that I was happy about were The Kinks, Sonic Youth, and especially Belle & Sebastian with 2 songs. I've been listening to this disc constantly over the past 7 days and still haven't gotten tired of it...which says a lot coming from someone with such a short attention span.

*I give it 4 and 1/2 stars instead of 5 only because I found the 2, short (under 1 minute) intrumental tracks did nothing for me.

Interview Did anyone, I wonder, ever buy just one Motown single? Or just one 2-Tone single? And while you're pondering... can you even remember what major label your favourite artist is on? Unigram, perhaps. Or Polycorpse.…

Process Explorer from CellPhoneSoft starts where task managers end. It lists all programs running on the phone, including server processes that run invisibly in the background, and are not shown by task managers. Detailed information is presented on each process, including child threads and windows, that was never before available. Process Explorer can terminate any process, provided platform security enforcement is disabled on the phone. The Cleanup command performs automated multiple termination which may lead to free memory amounts previously unprecedented. While Process Explorer is most useful on early UIQ3 phones with notoriously low memory, it is also a valuable general tool on any UIQ3 device, for analytical purposes and for killing the occasional "stray process".

Before we completely bid adieu to our nation's birthday, we here at Gizmodo would like to give one more shout out to the fourth of July. Seems like even the stars in the sky can't resist putting up a display for good ol' American freedom. These red-white-and-blue pictures of Supernova remnant SN 1006 is what's left over from a star explosion first observed by humans in year 1006.

The flash in the sky is a remnant of a blast 7,000 light-years away in the Lupus constellation. Scientists say that it was the brightest observed supernova in recorded history, and that the light from the explosion could be seen in the daytime for weeks afterward.

The supernova sent a shockwave that traveled outwards at nearly 20 million mph. In the 1960s, radio astronomers first detected the ring of material pushed out by the shockwave. With the latest imagery, released by the Hubble Space Telescope's science team, you can see a gossamer stripe with starlight shining through it – the rocket's red glare indeed.
