Great album all around
Great, classic songs all around. I highly recommend this.Montgomery Gentry's version of "Merry Christmas from the Family" is a great tribute to this classic. As others have mentioned, Carrie, Brad and Kellie do wonderfully on this album as well.Merry Christmas!

A perfect Country Christmas
The selection of songs on this album is brilliant aside from a few mis-steps, though you can't really go wrong with a Country Christmas cd. Carrie Underwood gives one of her best vocal performances on "Do You Hear What I Hear".
Other highlights for me were Kellie Pickler's "Santa Baby" (which fits her perfectly), "Let It Be Christmas" by Alan Jackson (maybe the best Christmas song ever), "Away In A Manger" by Blaine Larsen (This song has been a favourite since I sung it at school when I was younger) and Johnny Cash's take on "Silent Night".
The only bad part is Montgomery Gentry sound really bad on "Merry Christmas From The Family", it's as if they were drunk while recording it.

Excellent Sampler of Christmas Music - Country Style
This is an excellent sampler of contemporary country Christmas music, though many of the tracks have been previously released by the assorted artists, there are two new tracks featuring American Idol alumni Carrie Underwood (the reigning top CMA and ACM female singer of the year) and Kellie Pickler who was a finalist in 2006.
Naturally, Carrie gets the honored spot at track #1 with her rendition of 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' which is faithful to this traditional song about the true basis of Christmas.
This compilation of country's top singers is well worth the price. I highly recommend it.
