Rating: - Donna has always been contemporary
I have been a fan of Donna Summer since 1978. I have enjoyed her period of super stardom, and I have endured her descent from the charts due to radio not continuing to play her music due to her disco stigma. I have always looked forward to a new Donna Summer album, and I have never been let down. From her years at Geffen records in the 80's to floundering between labels in the 90's she has continued to put out music that was relevant and current. She never felt he need to redo Bad Girls, or make a carbon copy of Last Dance. I cannot understand the confusion around her latest release, Crayons. after reading all the one star reviews I must say that you can criticize the songs and the arrangements but Donna still looks hot and she still has an exceptional voice!!i think the album is great.

Rating: - We waited all this time, for this?
What a bummer of a CD. There isnt anything over the top, or memorable about the songs on this release. Why wasn't "I got your love" included on this release? "I'm a fire" is way too long, and "Stamp your feet" only makes you want to stamp your feet in disgust. Skip this one.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, a huge Donna SUmmer fan from way back when I was growing up. She immediately put it into her car and she LOVES IT! Great songs!
