The album is awesome and is just as great as their first two records. The best way to describe this album would be to say that it achieved what 17 Days tried to do but failed at. These songs are very in-depth will surely be a classic album in this band's career. "It's Not My Time" is a very cool song, and all of the others are just as good. I liked their first album, (although I got tired of hearing Kryptonite every five minutes on the radio) and I really enjoyed Away from the Sun. Although I thought Seventeen Days had some good songs on it, I didn't think it stacked up to the first two albums. Well. Their self-titled fourth album is the new standard for future records will be stacked up against. In my opinion, this record is better than any of their previous efforts. There is absolutely no filler on this album; every song is excellent. The lyrics are well written and the music excellently crafted to really make this a disc you can't take out of your cd player. The fact that I'm able to type this blog entry less than a week after the operation has me hopeful that recovery will be quicker than I was led to believe, but it will still be a few weeks before I'm able to really tackle any serious work.
