Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Some of the best music ever
The first few tracks on this CD are a perfect hybrid of the best melodic power pop/rock from the hysteria days and the slick new production we had all come to expect by the late 90's. Most of the rest of the CD is more mediocre like a lot of the tracks on Adrenalize. It's cool to hear them do an instrumental (Disintegrate), but that track doesn't have the melodic riffs and great songwriting that some of the first songs do. An unfortunate choice, since artists like Nason Resonance have proven that it is quite possible to write powerful melodic power pop/rock instrumentals - enough to fill an entire album - and Def Lep could have done the same if they wanted, for just one track, I'm sure. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IF A LEPPARD FAN
Pyromania and Hysteria were masterpieces mainly because song quality and timing. Everything worked, and it all sounded great. Fast forward to 1999, a cool dozen years after the release of Hysteria. Let me just say that I agree to a point with those who say that something happened to Def Leppard after Hysteria and they are not the same. Yeah, Steve Clark died. They are a different band now. And with Euphoria, they have found their niche once again, unfortunately the timing was not right and the record company failed to promote this as it should have been, a shame since it is a minor masterpiece by melodic hard rock standards. The sappy tunes "Goodbye" and "All Night" are not what I am referring to. ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the Greatest Rock Albums Ever Made
DEF LEPPARD is easily one of the greatest rock bands of all time and their 1999 album Euphoria proves it. I have listened to this album over and over again for years now and it remains to be like new and it keeps getting better and better. Every song is a hit. I love U2, Metallica, Coldplay, Audioslave,Pearl Jam, but I find it unfair to compare these bands to DEF LEPPARD because DEF LEPPARD is way better, way more melodic, way more positive and energetic, and of course way more original. With Euphoria, DEF LEPPARD gives you an album with no filler and they once again show that they never cut corners. I have studied all those reviews where people make fun of DEF LEPPARD and almost every time these ... Read More

The cost savings and efficiencies of a digital nomad lifestyle can become irresistible during recessions, and so the trend in that direction is accelerating. Here's why.

Netbeans 6.5 is recently released. Along with tons of new features, it has some enhancements for Web Services development. The foremost is that with Netbeans 6.5, you can easily develop Web Services applications and deploy on to Glassfish V3. There are are other features like configuring WS-Addressing, and exposing a SOAP based Web service as REST service through GUI caught my attention.

Nick Bradbury just had a tumor removed from his head. Glad to hear he's doing well:

The fact that I'm able to type this blog entry less than a week after the operation has me hopeful that recovery will be quicker than I was led to believe, but it will still be a few weeks before I'm able to really tackle any serious work.

Consumer electronics giant Sanyo's new stereo Internet radio--available in the U.S. in January--looks good and sounds good, but is a challenge to set up.
