Rating: - A sketchy three stars
Kickstarted by the great fun time lead track of Lets Get Rocked things were looking pretty darn rosy for this album. Great vibe, band with a huge profile, a bit of a sympathy vote due to the tragedy that befell them in the death of Steve Clark, I mean what could go wrong?

Well for starters overlong dreariness like White Lightning which sounds cool and atmospheric on first listen but is just plain boring on repeated plays. Or how about horrors like Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad? Tripe. Other tunes such as Personal Property and Make Love Like A Man would of sounded OK on Hysteria, they have some groove, but here they lack a supporting cast of really strong songs to prop them ... Rating: - Adrenalize Is Underated
To me, Def Leppard's ADRENALIZE is so underated and every song on the album is a hit. I think more people would like the album if it came out a lot earlier than what it did back in the spring of 1992. I have been listening to this album recently and it just gets better, and once again when it comes to Def Leppard every song is a hit from the beginning of the album to the end of the album.

Rating: - Decent follow-up to Hysteria
Seems like everyone either loves or hates this album. Is it "Hysteria Part II", as some say? Maybe, I would reply, but is that a bad thing? Adrenalize is a solid rock release amidst a sea of the new grunge emerging at the time, so I'd say it lived up to its promise although admittedly it's not on par with Hysteria. I don't know that that's a realistic expectation. The death of guitarist Steve Clark had a significant impact on their sound as well as on the emotions and well-being of the band, I'm sure. It couldn't have been an easy time, yet they still put a great album out.
