Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Some of the best music ever
The first few tracks on this CD are a perfect hybrid of the best melodic power pop/rock from the hysteria days and the slick new production we had all come to expect by the late 90's. Most of the rest of the CD is more mediocre like a lot of the tracks on Adrenalize. It's cool to hear them do an instrumental (Disintegrate), but that track doesn't have the melodic riffs and great songwriting that some of the first songs do. An unfortunate choice, since artists like Nason Resonance have proven that it is quite possible to write powerful melodic power pop/rock instrumentals - enough to fill an entire album - and Def Lep could have done the same if they wanted, for just one track, I'm sure. All in all, however, Euphoria is a truly great album - the last before they started to sound like the Backstreet Boys Never Gone.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IF A LEPPARD FAN
Pyromania and Hysteria were masterpieces mainly because song quality and timing. Everything worked, and it all sounded great. Fast forward to 1999, a cool dozen years after the release of Hysteria. Let me just say that I agree to a point with those who say that something happened to Def Leppard after Hysteria and they are not the same. Yeah, Steve Clark died. They are a different band now. And with Euphoria, they have found their niche once again, unfortunately the timing was not right and the record company failed to promote this as it should have been, a shame since it is a minor masterpiece by melodic hard rock standards. The sappy tunes "Goodbye" and "All Night" are not what I am referring to. What I am talking about are two songs in particular: "Kings of Oblivion" and "21st Century Shalala Girl." These songs are two gems, two of the best in the entire DL catalog. Moreover, two non-album tracks, "Worlds Collide" and "Burnout" harken back to the days of Pyromania more than Hysteria, why they were left off the album, who knows. All I know is that this album is only a small notch below their big two, and it is a bit better than "Adrenalize." Sadly, Def Leppard zig-zags with experiments like "Slang" and "X" rather than pushing the envelope further. Only the energy is missing, the songs are just as good. If they take the energy from "YEAH!" and apply it to their forthcoming 2008 album "Songs From the Sparkle Lounge," they might just up the ante another notch. This band has another big hit inside them somewhere. And with the strong showing of "YEAH!" the timing is right once again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the Greatest Rock Albums Ever Made
DEF LEPPARD is easily one of the greatest rock bands of all time and their 1999 album Euphoria proves it. I have listened to this album over and over again for years now and it remains to be like new and it keeps getting better and better. Every song is a hit. I love U2, Metallica, Coldplay, Audioslave,Pearl Jam, but I find it unfair to compare these bands to DEF LEPPARD because DEF LEPPARD is way better, way more melodic, way more positive and energetic, and of course way more original. With Euphoria, DEF LEPPARD gives you an album with no filler and they once again show that they never cut corners. I have studied all those reviews where people make fun of DEF LEPPARD and almost every time these people are so narrowminded to the point that they are telling lies instead of giving true rational opinions.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Euphoria Is Better Than Hysteria
To me, Euphoria is way better than Hysteria and more people out there would agree with me if they listened to Euphoria as much as they did with Hysteria back in the early 1980s. Euphoria is much more melodic and energetic and upbeat and positive and every song is a hit. Of course every song on Hysteria is a hit, but Euphoria is much more deeper with every song. If the music industry wasn't corrupt, DEF LEPPARD would be popular like U2, and Euphoria would be remembered like the way Hysteria is remembered. Euphoria is better than most greatist hits albums and that is an understatement. I can name every song as a favorite, but I will only name a few. Songs such as I AM YOUR CHILD, DAY AFTER DAY, PROMISESES, BACK IN YOUR FACE, GOODBYE, DEMOLITION MAN gets an honourable mention because they prove that DEF LEPPARD is better than ever.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love it!
Euphoria rocks! Promises is the best song on this CD as is Back In Your Face, oh... every song is great! Highly recommended!

All About N-Gage have the dirt on a game that looks like it has a lot of potential: Asphalt: Urban GT.  I can't say that I've played much more than some FIFA and other random stuff on the N-Gage, but a good racer can add a lot of value to a gaming platform.  Of course I'm still waiting to see if Call of Duty rocks as much as it should.
