Hermoso, absolutely beautiful
Beauty is in the ear of the beholder when it comes to music. This album is beautiful, thought-provoking, and romantic. "Bendita la luz"...ah, how soothing and tranquilizing to listen to this song after a long day at work and a long sit in traffic in the Washington DC area. I recommend this CD for long trips, background music when friends come over, and most of all, as a reward after a long day at work and a long sit in traffic. Vale la pena, amigos, GET THE CD!!! You deserve to listen to something worthwhile, right?

I don't even like Mana... but this album is amazing
I've never liked Mana, none of their albums. I am more of a Cafe Tacuba man myself when it comes to Rock en Espanol. But I may have to change things... WOW WOW WOW... This is the best rock album in any language i've heard in quite some time. By far and away the best rock of album on 2006-2007. No rock album comes close.
Wow, the album is a hit factory... Manda Una Senal (the song which I fell in love with and got me to listen to the rest of the album), Labios Compartidos, Bendita La Luz (with Juan Luis Guerra), Ojala Pudiera Borrarte... WOAH!!!
They have totally changed my opinion about them. A good melody is a good melody, and a good guitar riff is a good guitar riff and Mana has somehow managed to find hundreds of them that linger in your head for ages all over this album.
These are stadium sing-a-long songs and I just have to see them in concert now (I'm hitting Latin America for 2 months Dec-Jan this year, i'm Australian). Adelante muchachos de Mana, you've converted me.

The BEST Latino Rock Band in the world
When it comes to asking people about Pop Latino music; it is almost common that almost everyone you ask will say Mana is among thier favorites. This is probably hard to believe that I have only been a Mana fan or the other word they use for fans like me "Manatico" since 2004. I had a huge interest in the group when I Bought my first album from them called "Unplugged". Thier soothing sounds of a live concern scene had me wanting more. When I bought the next album Cuando Los Angeles Lloran I was hooked. I really enjoy listening to Fher Olvera, the main singer in the group. His musical talents are often compared to the main singer in Sting or Bono from U2. It's really amazing how the group we know as Mana know now almost failed to exist at one point of thier career. I listen to these guys often and recommend anyone to listen to thier music, you don't have to speak Spanish but you can still enjoy the sound of Fher's voice, as well as the drumbeats performed by Sergio Vallin Rodriguez. Here are a couple reviews of thier albums from thier careers (may not have all of them)
Falta Amor 1990- Great first album under the name Mana. for those of you who don't that they used to be called Sombrero Verde and were also part of the movement called "Rock en tu Idioma" This album has more of an Adult Contemporary sound to it, kinda like a Soft Rock en Espanol type sound. My favorite song in this album is "Rayando El Sol" Mana's first big hit.
Donde Jugaran Los Ninos 1992- Another great masterpiece of work, still has the Soft Rock en espanol sound. Great hits include: Oye Mi Amor, Vivir Sin Aire, and Como Diablos, as well as the beginning up beat hit: De Pies a Cabeza. This album you can say put the group on the map on heading to being one of the best Latino rock band in the world
Cuando Los Angeles LLoran 1995- This is when they kinda leave the Soft Rock en espanol sound and head towards the rock en espanol sound. You can tell of the musical differences by listening to thier sound, Selva Negra, as well thier balads. Thier balads aim towards the edge of rock. I don't have a favorite song from this album but I do consider it as one of my favorites.
Suenos Liquidos 1997- En el Muelle de San Blas is another favorite song from Mana.
MTV Unplugged 1999- Another favorite of mine, has the all songs in a concert setting on CD. You can listen to this album while relaxing or if your up and around.
Revolucion de Amor 2002- Includes the hit Mariposa Tracioniera. Love that song!
Amar es Combatir 2006- My favorite song is Labios Compartidos, still love thier music even though they went a little stronger

I don't speak spanish but I enjoy the music. All the songs are good if you like rock, upbeat, romantic music...I made 3 copies, one for home, car and work. Oh! I even have it on my Ipod for when I exercise. You just can't get enough of it. This is the best album ever!!!
